Enlimomab
Anti-ICAM-1 antibody

Action
Monoclonal antibody against intercellular adhesion molecule ICAM-1; ICAM is required for leukocyte attachment and migration through cerebral endothelium.

Status
Phase III trial (EAST) enrolment of 625 patients was completed in July 1996 and the results presented in April 1997. Outcome in Enlimomab group worse than placebo group. Final results published 10/2001.
